About Me

Hi, my name is Evan Zwack.   That's my real name.  I've also used a number of other names such a binder (it was the first thing I saw when I was choosing a name), EZ and various others some I've probably forgotten about.  I decided to use my real name for this blog because why not.  I'm not really sure why I've avoided using my real name on the internet so much.  I guess mostly out of habit or because I'm afraid of saying something that might embarrass me later.  Lately for some reason I feel like being a little more transparent about who I am.

So who am I...

A bit difficult to say.  Who is anyone really?  I live in San Jose, California.  I'm currently unemployed. I graduated from San Jose State University in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration Accounting.  Since then I've done very little with my life.  I have some problems with depression and anxiety that have made things difficult for me.  Lately I've been taking anti-depressants and feeling a bit better.  I'm now trying to get my life in order, or at least make it more to my liking.  Here is a picture of me.

About this blog...

I creates this blog years ago for no real reason (hence the name).  I let it sit unused for years after that because I had nothing to say really.  Lately I've resurrected it because I've developed strong views on energy related topics that I wish to talk about.

You may be wondering why I'm so interested in energy.  Well it stated in collage.  There was some guy I knew who was really enthusiastic about renewable energy.  He wanted a company that produced electricity from solar thermal in the forum parabolic trough and sterling engines.  His idea wasn't that good, but it got me interested in the subject.  I started spending hours a day researching all things energy related.  Over time I've developed strong views on the topic.  When I started out roughly five years ago I know almost nothing about the subject and I was pro renewable energy, but over time as I've learned more I've become strongly pro nuclear power.

At any rate my interested include energy and various DIY projects.   That is what this blog is going to focus on for the most part.  I have a lot of things I need to be working on in my life so I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update, but I definitely have things I want to talk about so I'll try for a least once a month for now on.   Thank you for your patience.
